Grapes & Grass is a wine and music festival in the heart of downtown Boulder, Colorado. While there is no shortage of amazing music events in the region, the intimacy of the venue, as well as the incredible natural beauty that surrounds, makes Grapes & Grass a perfect fit for guests that are seeking a "top shelf" festival experience. After a overwhelmingly positive response to our inaugural event in 2017, we took notes on how to make 2018 even better for our guests.  For starters, we have made the following changes:

- Kids activities from 11am - 2pm for the Main Event (Sat 8/25)

- Larger main stage

- Expanded food options

- Installing luxury portable bathroom trailer (no more port-a-poties!)

- After-Grass (late night) show at The Boulder Theater on 8/25!

- Please follow Grapes & Grass on our Facebook Page to stay abreast on lineup announcement and tickets going on sale in early April!

We are honored to have Master Sommelier, Brett Zimmerman lead the wine programming for Grapes and Grass 2018.

Born and raised in Colorado, Brett's passion for wine began at the University of Colorado and carried throughout his professional career from accepting a sommelier position at the highly acclaimed Charlie Trotter's in Chicago to opening his own restaurant in Boulder, Mateo. After three years, he left the restaurant business in order to focus on his true passion – fine wine – taking a position as Colorado’s General Manager of the American Fine Wine Division of Southern Wine and Spirits. This dedication to his craft culminated in the spring of 2007 when Zimmerman successfully passed his Masters Examination and earned the highly coveted distinction of Master Sommelier.

Brett, current owner of Boulder Wine Merchant resides in Boulder, Co with his wife and their two children.
